at Greensboro College

The mission of The Center for Innovation and Workforce Development at Greensboro College is to prepare individuals to advance and succeed in their careers and educational pursuits and to meet the employer demand in the area. Through innovative professional education, the non-credit certificate programs offer certification programs, test-preparation classes, developmental training, enrichment seminars and other thought-provoking workshops.

The Center for Innovation and Workforce Development at Greensboro College was established to meet the needs of employer demand in key growth areas:

  • Fill the gaps for in-demand jobs in high-growth sectors like healthcare, manufacturing, information technology, professional/technical and supply chain/logistics
  • Advance employee skills and competencies through industry-recognized certifications
  • Develop a robust and high-performing talent pool poised for long-term growth

The center is led by director Suzanne Suddarth, MA. She has an extensive background in the development of innovative classes, certification programs and seminars for non-credit and credit offerings.
