The Foundations of Universal Design for Learning in Higher Education workshop is for those who want to understand Universal Design for Learning at a basic level and be empowered to take this information back to their institutions to disseminate this new pedagogy and see increases in student success.

Who should take this program?

This workshop is designed for faculty, staff and administrators in higher education who want to:

  • Learn the neuroscience behind teaching to diverse learners with and without disabilities
  • Learn the basics of Universal Design for Learning to support teaching to our neurodiverse 21st-century students
  • Be enlightened about the benefits of implementing UDL in the classroom and beyond
  • Increase admission and retention at your institution by implementing UDL across the campus

This workshop is 10 hours of contact hours and provides a Certificate of Completion from Greensboro College and CAST.
